After using Pugh’s evaluation matrix, I have identified Design 3 as the design to develop, with input from all of the other designs, especially design 4.
I have developed design 3 by adding further aesthetic forms. The slightly ugly form of the ear fitting form, is covered by a flat yet stylised part.
The final design could be colour coded by the customer when it was made on demand at the store.
Although I am unable to converse with Paul currently due to it being university holiday time, I feel as though my work is comparable with the work undertaken in previous years. I feel like as long as I work in this way for the coming weeks, I will certainly create a projects I am really happy with!
