Concluding the Report

I feel that over the past weeks of conclusion for my technical report, that I have been able to perfect the report itself. Unfortunately, a first print of my report, which costed £28, came out wrong because I had accidentally set the save quality low…

I do however have a feeling of relief as the report appears to be finally over. I have concluded both the technical report and the design report for hand in either next Monday or Tuesday.

Looking back, from starting university back in 2012, I feel I have learnt a great deal about working towards deadlines, something I have always felt I have been able to keep on top of. Having such a large project to do such as the dissertation has made me realise how I should be managing my time in a more fluid manor, as currently I feel as though my work progress is rather disjointed, with no work, then full on work, then no work again.

I feel content with the report itself as I have been working towards 2 impeccable past examples, which I feel were excellent guidance for required content and language style. The reports did differ slightly from our task, but the main elements were there and I feel that I may not have been able to write the report without them!

Finally, I hope that this report will allow me to appear more appealing to employers in the future. 3D printing and prototyping technologies are the future of design and I hope my research and the understanding gained will allow me to converse fluidly with future employers or other people within the industry of design, manufacture and engineering.
